MRT Global Management Pte Ltd (Headquarters: Singapore, CEO: NobutakaKato) (hereinafter, MRT Group), through its group company MRT Vietnam Co., Ltd (hereinafter, MRT Vietnam), is pleased to announce the conclusion of a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with FUJIFILM VIETNAM Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, FUJIFILM Vietnam) and VIETNAM JAPAN MEDICAL SERVICES JOINT STOCK COMPANY (hereinafter, VJM Co.), which operates the medical institution “T-Matsuoka Medical Center” in Vietnam. The MoC aims to establish a model driven by a 100% Japanese corporate consortium in the Vietnamese healthcare sector and contribute to the improvement of healthcare in Vietnam.
Background
Despite non-communicable diseases such as lifestyle-related diseases being the leading causes of death in Vietnam, the rate of regular health check-ups is extremely low at approximately 3.5%, making early detection of diseases difficult. *1,2,3
To address this challenge, Fujifilm (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and CEO: Teiichi Goto, hereinafter, Fujifilm) has been working with VJM Co. and T-Matsuoka Medical Center since July 2024 to operate “NURA,” a health check-up center primarily focused on cancer screening, in Vietnam. This initiative aims to provide high-quality health check-up services and establish a culture of health check-ups in Vietnam.
In the medical human resource sector, MRT Global began the full-scale operation of its medical human resource platform “MRT HUB” through MRT Vietnam in October 2025. *4 Furthermore, prior to this, starting in July of the same year, in cooperation with Vietnam’s largest private medical group, MRT has been conducting online and offline lecture programs, inviting specialists registered on the MRT medical human resource platform as instructors to improve the knowledge and skills of local doctors.

“NURA” and health check-up centers utilizing its know-how have expanded their reach to India, Mongolia, Vietnam, the UAE, and Thailand since their launch. New openings are also planned for South Africa, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
Service Features
“NURA” provides cancer screening and lifestyle-related disease testing services, combining medical devices such as CT and mammography offered by Fujifilm with AI technology to support doctor diagnoses.
User Feedback
- Short Completion Time: All tests and the doctor’s feedback on the results are completed in a short time of approximately 120 minutes.
- Easy-to-Understand Explanation: The ability to receive an easy-to-understand explanation of the health check-up results from the doctor while viewing the diagnostic images is highly praised.
Future Development
MRT Vietnam, FUJIFILM Vietnam, and VJM will contribute to raising the standard of healthcare in Vietnam by deploying a unified Japanese model in the medical sector and introducing high-quality Japanese medical services to Vietnam. Utilizing this knowledge and experience, they will also strive to improve global healthcare standards.
Through this activity, the MRT Group will advance solutions to medical challenges in Vietnam, deploy the knowledge and experience gained to other Southeast Asian countries, and contribute to the development of healthcare in Southeast Asia by building the “ASEAN No. 1 Medical DX and Medical Human Resource Platform.”
